Reading to your child is a great way to strengthen your bond with your child and allow them to build their vocabulary and expand their imagination. If you make story time into an obligation, your child will catch on and not look forward to the occasion. BUT if you make larger than life expressions while reading, you could leave a mark on your child’s memories of reading with you.
